Creating Culturally Responsive and Inquiry-based Social Studies Standards

These social studies standards and companion curriculum framework, collaboratively developed by Region 2 and the Rhode Island Department of Education, inform a culturally responsive and inquiry-based approach to social studies and assist educators in designing and using curriculum materials, instruction, and assessment.
